KUANTAN: High speed broadband (HSBB) is expected to contribute to an increase of 0.6% of the country’s Gross Domestic Product by 2017, Deputy Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum said.
Joseph said HSBB had been earmarked as one of the countrys main infrastructure initiatives to spearhead Malaysia into a knowledge-based economy.
