HSBB on target to meet country’s GDP

KUANTAN: High speed broadband (HSBB) is expected to contribute to an increase of 0.6% of the country’s Gross Domestic Product by 2017, Deputy Information, Communica­tions and Culture Minister Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum said.

Joseph said HSBB had been earmarked as one of the countrys main infrastructure initiatives to spearhead Malaysia into a knowledge-based economy.
