Company issued notice over illegal business

THE owner of a building in Phileo Damansara II, Petaling Jaya, was issued a 14-day notice by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) to cease swiftlet-rearing activities atop the building yesterday.

Over 10 council enforcement personnel, accompanied by officers from the Health, Complaints and Building Control departments, visited Wisma MXM after receiving complaints about the noise made by the swiftlets from the public.
