GEORGE TOWN: Former Penang Municipal Council president Datuk Tan Gim Hwa has joined the verbal war over the sale of Taman Manggis land with a dig at the DAP.
Tan, 76, who helmed the council from 1992 to 1996, accused the state government of being “desperate” to divert public attention from the land issue by digging out past land sales in the state.
