MORE than 15 families gathered at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (PPUKM) to celebrate Hari Raya together with orphans from Rumah Nur Hikmah. These families comprise parents and children who are currently staying at RMH, alongside those with children undergoing treatment at PPUKM.
The Ronald McDonald House serves as a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children who are being treated at nearby government hospitals. The Ronald McDonald House at PPUKM is the first and the only Ronald McDonald House programme in Asean.
