A wider reach: Handal Indah gave thousands of Malaysian and Singaporean commuters another option when they were awarded 110 licences for the cross-borders services and an additional 40 permits in 2010.
HANDAL Indah Sdn Bhd started with only eight stage buses a decade ago and today, the number has grown to 400 buses, making the company one of the largest bus operators in the country.
On average, Handal Indah’s 80 express and 320 stage busestransport 100,000 commuters daily. So far, the company has invested about RM150mil on its fleet as well as the technology that goes into running the business.
