STARWALKERS stand a chance of winning the Beyond Water Bio-Active Reforming System when they take part in the Penang Starwalk 2012 — thanks to Zhulian Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd.
Its senior distribution manager Garry Ho said the system is the first in the market to adopt innovative water reforming technology using multiple layers of filtration.
“The water purification system involves purification and activation process, removes harmful and dangerous contaminants, reduces water molecule size with infrared rays and stabilises water molecules for better health,” he said.
Ho said Beyond Water is also the first in the market to use transparent filter chambers.
Zhulian Marketing, the marketing arm of Zhulian Group, sponsored two units of the system and 10,000 bottles of 500ml Natural Living Water totalling RM11,906 for the walk.
Besides coming in as a sponsor, the company had also encouraged its staff to take part with 169 employees signing up for the non-competition category.
The entry forms were submitted to The Star’s advertising executive Leong Shir Mein at the company’s premises at Plot 41, Phase IV Bayan Lepas Industrial Estate, in Hilir Sungai Kluang 2 yesterday.
Ho said the company’s employees have been taking part in the walk for the past 20 years.
“They have been working hard and Starwalk is like part of the company’s recreation activity where employees from our three plants can participate and foster better relationship with each other,” he added.
Also present were Zhulian Jewellery Manufacturing Sdn Bhd executive director Sin Poh Seah and Zhulian Marketing public affairs assistant manager Cindy Ku.
Penang Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas will flag off Penang Starwalk 2012 at Birch House, Penang Times Square, at 6.30am on Sept 17, a replacement public holiday for Malaysia Day that falls on Sunday.
The route for non-competition walkers is 6km while it is 10km for competition walkers.
