Maritime agency beefs up anti-piracy surveillance

KUCHING: The threats of piracy in Sarawak’s waters, particularly off Miri, is not serious but the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) is not taking chances.

In fact, MMEA has sent a stern message to pirates to ship out or the agency would come down hard on them.
