Separate living quarters for foreign workers at Samalaju

KUCHING: The state government has directed the management of the workers lodge at Samalaju Industrial Park to build separate living quarters for foreign workers to prevent a recurrence of the fracas, which occurred recently.

Industrial Development Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan said the incident at Samalaju was an isolated case and was not a situation that could threaten the state’s security and safety.
