GEORGE TOWN: A food retail outlet here is in hot water for misleading its patrons with a non-certified halal logo.
It was slapped with a charge notice by the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry during a raid for displaying the logo although it did not possess a halal certificate.
