Shining a light on the heritage of Penang

RESTAURANT owner Foo Hong Meng and his wife Foo Kwee Lan knew they had to visit the ‘Hotshots: 40 years of great news images by The Star photographers’ exhibition after reading about it in The Star paper.

Hong Meng, 54, said the exhibition’s timing was just right as Penang had just held the George Town Festival 2012 in recogni- tion of the city as a world heritage site.
