Travelling in and out of London is a breeze, thanks to an effective transport system

IN THE 10 months that I have been living in London, I have yet to jump into a cab when I’m out. The only time I have ever taken it was when I was moving into my current flat, and had to transport all my things across the city.

Besides the fact that cabs in London are notoriously expensive, there is also little reason to hail one down when the bus and underground — or the tube, as it is commonly referred to — system is so effective.
