Rejected SPDP Mas Gading nominee will be party's state pick

KUCHING: SPDP president Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom has assured that any one of the two names submitted by SPDP but not picked by the prime minister for Mas Gading parliamentary seat will be nominated to stand in the next state election.

Speaking to reporters after chairing a supreme council meeting at the party’s headquarters here yesterday, Mawan said the two names proposed for Mas Gading had nothing to lose because whoever was not accepted to stand in the coming parliamentary election would get to stand in the next state polls.
