MORE than 1,000 people packed the hall of the 200-year-old Church of The Immaculate Conception in Pulau Tikus, Penang, for the Eurasian Fiesta.
The fiesta, held for the first time ever to celebrate the richness of culture of the Eurasian community, was part of the month-long George Town Festival (GTF) 2012 to commemorate the anniversary of the city’s inscription as a Unesco World Heritage Site.
