GEORGE TOWN: The MIC has urged certain quarters not to sideline the local Indian community but provide them with equal opportunities and rights just like other ethnic groups in the country instead.
“I’ve received numerous complaints that their applications for scholarships, universities and job promotions were rejected despite having done very well in their examinations,” said MIC president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel.
