Firefly rolls out mobile app and empty-seat booking

FIREFLY, a wholly owned subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines, introduced its mobile booking facility and empty-seat option this week for the convenience of passengers.

Its mobile booking application, Firefly Mobile, allows passengers to make bookings, buy additional checked-baggage allowances and pay sports-equipment fees, all from their mobile devices. In addition, passengers can also retrieve their booking details if they don’t have their flight itinerary with them and change the flight time or date up to 48 hours before the scheduled time of departure.
