Gymnastics: Minami takes top spot

THE Japanese School of Kuala Lumpur duo of Minami Fujimoto and Riko Karasawa made a smooth transition into the Grade One category at the fifth Sarina Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (SRGC) classification programme at the Tropicana City Mall’s main atrium in Petaling Jaya recently.

After showing their promise in the Little Gymnast section, both continued their progress in clearing two disciplines — freehand and rope — in the Grade One contest with encouraging results.
