MARAN: The roles played by non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in nation building should not be forgotten and need to be appreciated, said Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (Risda) chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik.
He said NGO members had voluntarily carried the responsibilities to help the Government in various ways and all of them had done it without thinking of commercially returns.
