THE new Malaysia Airlines’ first Airbus A380 aircraft took to the skies on Tuesday on its maiden flight from KL International Airport (KLIA) to Langkawi and back with some 454 passengers.
Organised by Malaysia Airlines (MAS), the three-and-a-half hour journey served as a route-proving flight for it to obtain the regulatory approvals ahead of its first commercial flight on July 1.
