HARDCORE and marathon runners were mentally and physically tested in the Fifth Race of the annual Sultan Ahmad Shah Tioman International Eco Challenge (Sastiec) held recently in Pulau Tioman, Pahang.
The adventure racers had to endure a 38km-course of 10km on the tarred road while the other 28km was in the over 100 years old thick virgin forest.
