Helping youths deal with pain


YOUNG people must be well-prepared, even during their school days, to face the harsh realities of life awaiting them as they step into the adult world.

This thought has been on my mind for the past week. It was a strange coincidence that last Saturday, the day a seminar on parent-children relationship was being held at Curtin University of Technology, Sarawak Campus in Miri, a well-known doctor was grieving over the loss of his 24-year-old son who had apparently fell to his death in Penang.
