AFTER a two-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur, with a 20-minute stop at the Tapah rest area, our media group arrived at Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat in the quaint town of Tambun, near Ipoh.
We received a very warm welcome from the retreat’s director of operations, Olivier Robinet. For a moment, I was reminded of Ricardo Montalban’s character in the hit TV series from the 1970s Fantasy Island.
