Exporters annoyed by warning letters


VEGETABLE and flower exporters from Cameron Highlands are crying foul about receiving warning letters for not having Certificates Of Conformity (COC) before exporting their produce.

Cameron Highlands Vegetable Transport Association chairman Lau Sai Hoong said the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services (Maqis) had issued the warning letters despite a six months’ grace period pending the reconsideration of the COC.
