Consumers complain on high prices for drinks in Ipoh


THE current hot spell in Ipoh has sparked a debate on the price of drinks at traditional coffeeshops where the middle or low-income earners frequent to have their meals.

A van driver who paid RM4 for a bowl of seafood noodles and RM1 for two glasses of iced Chinese tea at a coffeeshop in Jalan Pasir Puteh during lunch hour last week said it was more economical as other drinks were too pricey.
