THE repaired jetty in Kampung Masjid on Pangkor Island has put a smile on the faces of fishermen there as they can now walk on it without fear of falling and getting hurt.
Fisherman Hussain Shaari, 45, said the 250m-long jetty had become safer to walk on as well as to tether their boats following remedial works carried out by the Royal Malaysian Navy.
