MIRI: A CID police inspector was yesterday freed by the Sessions Court from two charges of corruption as the three main witnesses including the complainant could not be traced.
The discharge, however, did not amount to an acquittal and the judge, Azahari Abdul Hamid, ordered the bail deposit of RM4,000 to be refunded.
