KUCHING: The number of new hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) cases has increased slightly from Sunday’s 39 cases to 49 cases yesterday.
The rise was observed in Kuching which had the highest with 17 cases, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Sarikei, Sibu and Bintulu divisions, while Betong, Miri, Mukah and Limbang recorded drops in cases. Number of new c ases in Kapit had remained the same since Sunday.
