Tiong set to be deputy president of SPDP


KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club (BNBBC) chairman and Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing is set to be the next deputy president of SPDP, which holds its triennial delegates conference in Bintulu this weekend.

SPDP deputy secretary-general Paul Igai said Tiong, who is currently the party’s tresurer-general, was the only one nominated for the post when nominations for party’s elected posts closed on March 10.
