THE Japanese government has thanked all Penangites for their support in helping the country to recover from the devastated earthquake and tsunami last year.
In an interview in Tokyo early this month, Japan Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda had thanked everyone for their assistance towards Japan and also announced the policy for the reconstruction of the affected areas, said Consul-General of Japan in Penang, Tetsuro Kai.
