IT WAS a proud moment for former international athlete Zaiton Othman when she received the International Olympics Committee (IOC) Women and Sports award for Asia during the World Conference on Women and Sport in Los Angeles, United States recently.
Zaiton was presented with the award for her contribution and promotion of sports for women in Malaysia. Zaiton said she was surprised with the reception accorded to her at the conference.
