Students fold thousands of origami hearts and break a record

BY FOLDING thousands of origami hearts with a heart of togetherness, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) students created the country’s largest origami mosaic worthy of a spot in the Malaysia Book of Records.

With the ability to assemble 82,960 pieces of paper-folded hearts into a 20mx20m work of art in 12 days and seven hours, they successfully broke the record made by the predecessor, who accomplished a similar feat in 13 weeks.
