Tennis stars set to give local fans a big treat at Malaysian Open


TENNIS fans are in for a treat as some of the best women players in the world will be in town this week to compete in the BMW Malaysian Open 2012 at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort for a shot at the USD220,000 (RM663,308) prize money.

Among the eight seeded players that had confirmed participation for the women’s open tournament are current world number six Agnieszka Radwanska, 14th ranked Jelena Jankovic, China’s Shuai Peng and India Sania Mirza who are all first timers to the event.
