Tegas to intensify efforts to produce skilled workers in 20 years’ time


KUCHING: Sarawak is embarking on a big campaign to promote technical and vocational education for youths in rural areas under the Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Bumiputra Sarawak (Tegas).

Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud said this campaign would involve elected representatives and youth leaders from the rural areas especially, reaching out to the younger generation and explaining to them the opportunities available in the technical field.
