Padi project in Batang Lupar ready for harvest in two years

KUCHING: A padi planting project in Stumbin-Bijat and Lingga-Banting in Batang Lupar is progressing well, with tender for its phase one infrastructure project already being called.

Agriculture and Agro-Based Industries Deputy Minister Datuk Rohani Karim hoped that the project would start to produce yields in two years after the completion of its irrigational infrastructure work.
