KUANTAN: The corporatisation exercise of the Pahang Water Supply Department proceeded smoothly with 1,276 staff opting to join Pengurusan Air Pahang Berhad (Paip) which became operational on Wednesday.
The remaining 53 chose to retire while 183 contract workers were absorbed into Paip.
