KUCHING: Four people have been fined between RM1,500 and RM2,000 for attempting to bribe policemen not to issue them summonses for various traffic offences.
Phang Fah Tat, Kuan Choon Foo, Ng Soon Chai, and Fong Jun Pin were charged under Section 17(b) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act with “corruptly giving gratification” to the policemen on Nov 3 last year.
