KUCHING: Sarawak Energy Bhd’s (SEB) fight against electricity theft traced more than 3,000 power thieves statewide and recovered some RM4.8mil in arrears last year.
Chief executive officer Torstein Dale Sjotveit said more than 20,000 Sesco meters were inspected last year, and that the electricity theft operations saved Sesco about RM36mil in lost revenue.
