LAST weekend was not a relaxing one for Shah Alam mayor Datuk Mohd Jaafar Mohd Atan who spent his time monitoring the complaints received from residents over uncollected rubbish.
“We are working round the clock to ensure that our contractors move into the affected areas and clear the rubbish,” he said at the council’s Disaster Control Centre room where officers were busy taking down complaints.
