FRISO, a well-known name in maternal and growing-up dairy products, recently partied with 1,500 young parents and their children at Sunway Lagoon as part of the Friso Pool Party.
The Friso Pool Party was organised to celebrate the joy between parents and their loved ones, without fear of the outdoors. “We wanted all the mothers out there to bring their little ones and their spouses to join us for a fun day at Sunway Lagoon,” said Dutch Lady Malaysia marketing director Rahul Colaco.
“Parents are often concerned about their young children being out and having fun in the outdoors. However, with Friso Gold, they have nothing to fear as Friso Gold protects the little ones from the inside,” he added.
Families started gathering at Sunway Lagoon as early as 6am to have a splashing good time with 1,500 other Friso fans and enjoy the exciting activities. They were entertained with fun activities such as kids aerobic, a balloon wind chamber, hula hoop games and a performance by Coco the Clown to kick-start the day outside the Sunway Lagoon theme park.
The doors opened at 9am and inside the theme park, they spent almost five hours enjoying Sunway Lagoon’s wonderful rides and amusements.
A special party area was set up at the Lagoon Beach where they could take part in various games and activities, including a beach treasure hunt and different water games.
All these activities were specially developed for parent and child teamwork and builds on the children’s cognitive abilities, coordination, logical thinking as well as gross and fine motor skills.
While participating in the games, the parents and child teams had the opportunity to fill up their activity passports. Those who submitted completed passports to the organisers after the games stood a chance of winning some great prizes such as a scooter, one of three sets of a dome tent with playing balls, or one of 10 Lego sets.
“The success of the first gathering for parents and kids has inspired us to explore more fun ways to encourage parents to bond with their little ones. We are looking at organising more fun and exciting events for young families to meet and mingle in an active social setting that lets parents explore the world together with their children,” said Colaco.
