Woman in face-off with council

ALOR SETAR: A woman refused to open the gate to her house when Alor Setar City Council (MBAS) enforcement officers came to seize moveable property at the premises for failure to settle assessment arrears.

She was about to drive off in her car parked outside her house in Taman Delima here when the officers arrived at about 10am yesterday. She refused to open the gate despite being asked to do so for about 15 minutes and remained in the car.
