MALACCA: Hosts Malacca Club (MC) which last won overall honours backed by home ground advantage repeated a similar feat capturing the Straits Settlement Games Challenge Trophy at the 11th edition of the tri-club series at its Tanjong Rotunda Sports Complex.
Defending champions Penang Sports Club (PSC) and Singapore’s Swimming Club (SSC) the other outfits in the triangular series gave the local club a stern challenge in the six-game affair comprising badminton, squash, tennis, table tennis, snooker and soccer.
