LET me add my belated two sens to the issue of the controversial installation of road railings by the council in Kuching.
The issue has definitely resulted in polarised opinions — one side claiming that the utterly ugly fencing spoils the unique friendly atmosphere that Kuching is renowned for. Ask any visitor to Kuching and the first thing they tell you is they like the friendly atmosphere. The fencing certainly destroys that atmosphere.
