KUCHING: It has been over six centuries since Admiral Cheng Ho and his fleet arrived at the port of Melaka, fostering what would become a strong relationship with China.
In present day Malaysia, delegates from Kunming, China, just north of Jinning County where Cheng Ho was born paid a courtesy visit to Kuching in what Tourism Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg likened to “Admiral Cheng Ho’s second voyage.”
