THE public have been invited to take part in a project to plant 1,000 mangrove saplings in Sungai Burong, Balik Pulau, Penang, on Dec 4.
The ‘Mangrove Planting Day’ project is organised by 13 final-year students of USM-KDU Bachelor of Communication in Persuasive Communication programme and co-organised by Penang Inshore Fishermen Welfare Association (PIFWA).
