PURE adrenaline and excitement filled the air at Dataran Merdeka during the recent 18th Annual Charity Walk/Jog/Wheel-A-Thon with The Disabled — a fun run hosted by The Spastic Children’s Association of Selangor and Federal Territory (SCAS & FT) Malaysia with the support of Celebrity Fitness Malaysia.
The event which saw over 500 participants running by a 4km route along the Dataran Merdeka in the heart of Kuala Lumpur proved worthwhile with children from disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, hearing difficulties and those visually-impaired running alongside participants making it across the finish line together with no set-backs but just strong determination.
