GEORGE TOWN: Unscrupulous people are cashing in on the restoration work of the 211-year-old Goddess of Mercy Temple in Jalan Mesjid Kapitan Keling by collecting and pocketing the money from the public.
“Please do not donate if you come across people who claim they are representing us,” Kong Hock Keong board of trustees chairman Datuk Lam Wu Chong said.
