SOME 40 applicants who turned up at the Petaling District Land Office on Tuesday were grateful to receive positive replies from its welfare department after submitting the applications last month.
Kampung Tunku state liaison officer Kelvin Chong said most of the applicants were senior citizens and physically-challenged individuals who had no idea how to apply for the welfare assistance.
