THE Penang Municipal Council has allocated RM166.22mil for next year’s budget which carries the theme — ‘Transformation through the 3Cs and 1R’, (for Cleanliness, Congestion, Crime and Revenue).
Its president Patahiyah Ismail said the bulk of the budget would be used to improve the state’s cleanliness (RM107.95mil), reduce traffic congestion (RM25.98mil), improve revenue collection (RM21.71mil) and to reduce the crime rate (RM10.58mil).
