BUKIT MERTAJAM: Penang MCA secretary Lau Chiek Tuan says he would leave politics and apologise to Penangites if he had indeed lied about a state exco meeting in January 2008 that purportedly discussed a land lease application by two brothers.
Lau, a former state exco member, said he had a copy of the meeting’s minutes as he was then part of the state executive council.
