THE normally busy lunch hour at several restaurants at Krystal Point in Bayan Baru, Penang, seemed exceptionally quiet — no thanks to the stinky sewerage water overflowing from several Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) sewerage covers.
A check there showed that sewerage water were oozing out from at least three sewerage covers and certain parts of the road were also submerged in greenish water which were about three inches high.
