KUCHING: Most, if not all, public universities in the country are struggling with a shortage of student dormitories, with some such as Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) unable to provide any on-campus accommodation.
The shortage of dormitories and the need to resolve student accommodation in Unimas was highlighted by its Students Affairs and Alumni (HEPA) deputy vice-chancellor Prof Mohd Fadzil Abdul Rahman.
